Brisbane to Auckland
Goodbye now to Spaceship Lucy, our trusty travelling companion. I can’t think of a cooler and more comfy way to tour around. If I could take her to Auckland I would but I have to be there this afternoon to rehearse for the Supergroove ‘Crosstown Revue’ so its the plane for me and Niall’s going to take Lucy back home.

Toowoomba, Queensland
Boo hoo, last show with Pete and the gang. Feels like we’ve made a lot of new friends. Pete totally blew me away by coming on stage during my set and giving me a farewell card and lots of hugs all around. Couldn’t stay and have a leaving party unfortunately as I have a crack of dawn flight to NZ from Brissy in the morning.

Ipswich, Queensland
The second to last night of the Pete Murray tour and travelling in my Spaceship. Getting sad about saying goodbye to them both. Took Lucy to the airport this morning to pick up Niall, who had gone back to Sydney for the weekend... Easy peasy trip to Ipswich and a great show at the Civic Centre with lots of mad local fans – nice to see you all!

Drove up to Brissy today to do some promo for my EP. Nova, 4 ZZZ and the Courier Mail. All good!

Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August
Gold Coast
Two days off! Actually took it pretty easy though it was great to revisit all my old Goldie haunts in the Spaceship and take it down to the beach for a couple of swims.

Friday 29 August
Lismore
Our last show in NSW and a load of my friends came down to see me from my old stomping ground on the Gold Coast. Awesome to see them all and I made sure they all had a good look at my Spaceship campervan and demonstrated the stove. Well impressed. If I didn’t have a show to do I would have cooked them up something in the car park!

Thursday 28 August
Coffs Harbour
Lousy weather today so we couldn’t make the most of the Spaceship sunroof as we drove up the coast to Coffs. We also couldn’t find much to do before the show so we ended up hanging out in a hippie shop and buying incense. Great gig though – we all shared a huge ritzy dressing room and Pete and I did a massive signing session at the end for all the people there.
